Growing up in the Sierra Foothills, I always felt a strong desire to travel and discover new places. At 19, I moved to Australia, where I spent over a decade immersed in the subtropical lifestyle. It was a dream come true, but I felt compelled to return home when my father fell ill.

I came back to Nevada City to care for my father as he approached the end of his life. During his final months, I was captivated by the experience of witnessing the veil between worlds grow thin, and I surprisingly found comfort in knowing that his time on Earth was coming to an end.

Following his passing, my passion for honoring those in the dying process—especially those who care for loved ones—sparked an unexpected journey into the healing arts.

A few months later, I enrolled in a rigorous massage course where I fully immersed myself in the practice for several months. This training beautifully combined Eastern and Western philosophies, creating a remarkable blend of relaxation and healing that I had never encountered before.

Since completing my studies, I welcomed my son into the world. His arrival opened up a depth and intensity I never knew existed. I truly believe his spirit entered this world through the same portal in which my father departed. This profound cycle inspired the name Akaal, meaning "undying," as a tribute to the myriad lives we embody.

I am both humbled and grateful to share this practice with you, along with other skills and divine gifts I have acquired, including sound healing and music.
